MTI MEDAN – In commemoration of International Workers’ Day (May Day) on May 1, 2025, the PRABU Peduli K3 Sumatera Utara (Sumut) will host a series of lively events involving various business sectors and the community. These activities are designed to showcase solidarity and commitment to improving Workers’ Welfare.
The main event will take place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the East Gate of Teladan Stadium, Medan. Several exciting activities have been prepared, including: Fun Day, Healthy Exercise, Social Service Blood Donation and Lucky Draw, held at the Stadium Café starting at 10:30 AM WIB.
Ismail SE, Chairman of PRABU Peduli K3 Sumatera Utara, revealed that in addition to the main event, there will be “Peaceful Demonstrations” in Two Zones:
1). Zone 1: Covering Deli Serdang, Medan, Binjai, and Langkat. This demonstration will take place on May 6, 2025, with a roadshow route through North Medan, the KIM industrial area, and the toll road to Binjai and Langkat. The peak event will be held in Binjai, specifically at PUK Kampung Tahu.
2). Zone 2: Covering Pematang Siantar, Simalungun, and Batubara Road. The roadshow will start from Tanjung Morawa to Siantar-Simalungun, with the peak event at the Sei Mangke industrial area on May 13, 2025.
“We plan for the May Day event organized by PRABU Peduli K3 Sumatera Utara to be attended by over a thousand participants. This is an important moment to demonstrate the spirit of unity and workers’ care for K3 and the wider community,” said Ismail.
