GERMAK Banyuwangi East Java – As part of the national Eid Homecoming with BUMN 2025 program, PTPN III Holding, through PTPN I Regional 5, has set up a special Homecoming Rest Post at Ketapang Port, Banyuwangi. The post operates from April 5 to April 8, 2025, serving travelers commuting to and from Bali.
Established in collaboration with PT ASDP Ferry Indonesia, the rest post provides free facilities including basic medical services, a comfortable resting area, hot coffee and tea, and even baby diapers for those traveling with children—ensuring comfort for the whole family.
“This post reflects our strong commitment to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and pleasant travel experience during the Eid season. We hope our presence here eases the journey and brings BUMN closer to the people,” said Ir. Winarto, Region Head of PTPN I Regional 5.
Beyond direct services, the post serves as a hub for community connection and an information center for travelers.
Several travelers expressed appreciation.
“After a long trip from Sidoarjo to Bali, this rest post was a lifesaver. I could relax, get a quick health check, and my child was more at ease with the free diapers,” said Joko, a traveler.
Another traveler, Mrs. Siti, shared, “The warm drinks and welcoming atmosphere made the journey much more pleasant. I felt genuinely cared for.”
This initiative is part of the joyful and humane spirit of:

Earlier on March 27, 2025, PTPN I Regional 5 also successfully sent off 1,000 homecoming travelers to their hometowns as part of the same national program.
